04 crank no start

It studdered out 5 times in a 30 mile drive in traffic only at lights would it die and had no power over 2500rpms so when i got go the house i changed the fuel filter(4k on old filter) reprimed fired up with no problems pulled the boat around the next morning it would not fire
so a few days later when i had time i checked rail pres. and it only getting to 204 psi on prime and cranking after 5 sec it would get to 230ish psi! I was told from a friend that it could be a fpr. iI was thinking cp3. I just wanted to see what you're guy's thoughts were

Sounds like air in Fuel System to me...

Unlpug FPR on cp3, prime up hard as can and crack bleeder and see if air comes out with Fuel, bleed until only Fuel comes out. Crank and see what rail pressure does

Use a rag and blow air in the Fuel filler neck and pressurize it for 20-30 seconds... Then look for the leak, that is where your air is getting in the system at...

Filter housing and quick connect near Fuel cooler by tank are 2 most common things I've found...

found a small hole in fuel line. where the hydro booster hose rubed thru the hard line.
