We have an 03 lb7 truck with a shitty harness, I have a harness from an 01, the oil sender plug is different, is there a way to make the gauge in the 03 work with the 2001 harness???

I do not know the specifics, but first you need to find out if the sensors are electrically different.
Is it single wire? These are resistors. They can go two ways, more pressure makes less resistance, or more pressure makes more resistance.
Hook up an ohmeter and an air nozzle and record what the ohms are at 0 psi, and 60 psi.
You don't have to use OEM sensors, as long as you find the right off-the-shelf part.
I do custom sensors by purchasing from Mouser based on the specs. My engine boost sensor now goes to 100 PSI boost. Not the gauge, the engine sensor.

If it were the other way around it would be easier, just run the single wire from the sensor to the brown wire on the bale connector. I have several late LB7 harnesses if you want to swap for your early harness.
How did you get it to plug into the 01 engine harness by the upper rad hard line? Or did you run a few extra wires to the bale connector?
