Is the 97779551 considered the solution for this problem? My truck just got a new starter and it's already acting up, now I'm pulling out my hair again.
Hey guys, supposedly a solution has been found for this issue over at Diesel Place.
Guys are having success when replacing the starter and flywheel simultaneously, only.
Recommended to purchase a "Mean Green" starter (part # MG6600), as well as a factory flywheel. Guys are having good success when doing these together at the same time.

I just ordered my parts, will keep yall up to date.
BTW, $370 for the starter, $150 for the flywheel shipped, plus about $40 for new flywheel bolts.
