I like this idea, I was thinking about making an adapter to AN, but i think that is a better solution. What size did you tap it too, 1/2inch?I ended up tapping coolant cross over and am re routing the heater with 12an hose to get it out of the way on the top of the motor.

Yes, 1/2" NPT
Those are handy, where did you find them?
Picture of the re routed heater core lines. I still need to shorten the oil drain line.

One line from the heater core goes into the bottom rad hose, I see that one. Where do you have the top line going? It should go to the top of the thermostat housing. Am I missing something???
Ah ok, by chance can you post a list of everything you used my trucks in pieces right now and I got rid of the line that runs up behind the motor so I'm looking to relocate mine
I found these 90 degree quick connect heater hose fitting that work with these heater core outlets. The factory straight fittings point almost straight into the exhaust crossover pipe.

I had used the same fittings when I first installed the compounds on my truck and I had an issue with one blowing off constantly during high rpm pulls. I tried a ton of different ones and they all did the same thing. I went back to a straight one and it solved all my problems. Just something to keep an eye on. They felt like they snapped on fine but more than a handful of times I had one of them blow off. Im not sure what was causing it, if it was just the sharp 90 and there is too much coolant flow through there or what.
