I have an 03 lb7 with efi live kory Willis tuned. Recently put a new john Kennedy race tcm on because the factory one had supposedly went bad. It was not showing what gear I was in and said range shift inhibited so my mechanic checked it out and said it was the tcm. Replaced it with a john Kennedy one. Solved the shift range inhibited but still does not show what gear I am in. Last night I started my truck and put it in drive and it started out in 3rd gear and stayed in it and the check engine light came on. I have a code reader so I plugged it in and cleared out the codes and its running fine now. here are the codes it gave me. P0748 p0763 p0768 p0773 p0708 p0743 b0229. Need some help! - Nate

Looks like you limped the transmission. Turn your power down or be prepared to get a built Trans installed.
It wasn't limp mode this time since it was running just fine when I shut it off hours earlier and when I came out later and cranked it, it started out in 3rd. I shut power off and all and still didn't solve it. Had to clear out codes for it to correct itself.
Check your main wire harness going into your tranny they are very common for that when the harness gets wet my truck does that to. Just unplug the harness ,clean it, and put some of that electric water proof grease on it.
