I must be the only guy who has good luck with Industrial Injection injectors. I had a set of their 60% overs for 50k miles in my truck, then pulled them out and put them in another truck. They now have about 80k on them, still work fine. Heck, I went through a set of Exergy 100% during that same time period...

Some people have better luck than others.. I had a set of 45% industrials last 20k and hazed so bad you couldn't drive the truck.

Yea it gets pretty smokey some times! Not bad enough to not drive tho.. seems to smoke more at idle and low speeds. Does not smoke on the highway unless I put my foot in it but the smoke is black then.

Just smells like an old trucks exhaust tho lol

Idk it almost seems like some trucks are just injector eaters. My LB7 for example, been through 3 sets in 150k. It runs two 2 micron filters, additive and good fuel, then we have several lb7s here on the ranch that has 80-90k on there reman inj I replaced 4 years ago and never have a lick of troubles. I've done about 31 inj jobs for local ranchers, contractors, farmers, ect. But one other farmer always has issues with injectors about like my LB7. Even Brent said there shop truck eats injectors every 25-30k and some last over 100k no problems. But on the ii injectors I'm running a set in my mothers lb7 and it's got 55k on them and balance rates are perfect still.

Well apparently the trucks original injectors lasted to 90k.. then the guy I bought it off of replaced them then and it has 116k on it now. I've had it for only about 1500 miles..

Welcome to owning an LB7. As everyone else who owns one has found out, thats the way it goes. They still have a lot of good qualities, though.

My original set has 136,000 miles it's a first gen 2004 6.6 Lb7 the second gen didn't have the problems. Mine smoked at idle for two years now and when you first stop badly then clears a bit. On the highway no smoke. How can you tell which one is bad?

Get your balance rates pulled. Not a definite but usually pretty well at finding at least the bad bank. Replace at least the whole bank. These engines are not friendly for one injector replacement.
