okay, the blue wire is for the parking brake switch. when activated the parking brake light flashes when the truck is running. is this normal or should it be solid? i never use my parking brake unless on a hill

Ok I'll get it for u tomorrow, yes mine flashes as well, mines a manual trans tho... But I'm pretty sure that's normal on a automatic as well, the red wire u have in your hand is for the DVD disable on the radio, that's why it's disconnected
yeah my old in dash unit stopped working so i got a new one, its weird because the parking brake wire is the other red wire you see in the picture. thanks again
started the truck this morning, everything works fine, weird huh? hopefully the problem doesn't come back :thinking2:
