Just picked up a new dirty max. This my first diesel but thankfully I have a bunch of friends who have duramax's so I've gotten lots of good advice. They told me to join here so here I am.
The owner before me just used it to tow his camper trl. I'll be using it to tow my crawler.
Right now my truck came with a hypertech, and that's it lol. Injectors have been done and a few other things. In the near future I'd like to do a few things but of course money talks. I have planned to do a lift pump, s&b intake, profab air horn, lml driver side manifold, profab down pipe, 4" exhaust with muffler, boost and egt gauges, boost valve, and let my buddy at it with his efi live. I'm looking for 500 hp give or take. Because it'll be used for towing I want it reliable and I'm gonna do what I can to keep the egt's down. Of course sooner then later I'll need to build the trans and head gaskets too.
