I have multiple TCM files, the 2001/2002 OS will not activate the Factory OD/LO without the added momentary on switch as others have stated.

Also if you use a 2003-2005 OS in any 2001/2001 truck the "D" indicator will not light up but will still work.

If you need a copy of others just ask

Tony I could use the 01 file with OD/LO if you could. [email protected]. Thanks

So what of a guy was too run the 01tcm file with a tap shifter to regain an ODLO? That's what I've been thinking I want to do. I jist like the quicker up and downshifts of the 01 file much better.

Do you have to run a wire or would it work in my 05 by just pushing the odlo button?

Would any 01/02 tune work that way in my 05, or is running the wire the only way?

I am not sure Steve, I have run many 01 os in 03+ trucks but they all had built trans so locking out OD wasn't really needed but it would be nice to run a 01 os in newer stuff and still have the ODLO operate

We have lots of roads that are 50mph speed limit and I like to use it to kick down a gear if I really need to get going. I don't like blowing smoke so that's how I keep it smokeless and still spool up really quick.

only way to do it is to run the wire/switch IF that even works. you cant use your setup in your truck as the TCM is looking for a momentary ground via other pins.

damn it, just realized ive been sayin "pins in the ECM" when its really pins in the TCM so i dont see why it wouldnt work with the switch
