Installing transgo kit and my C2 piston looks cracked and want to replace while apart. mine is a 1st gen (w/bleed hole) can i use a 2nd gen (no bleed hole) as long as i use the right seal. Is it the same except for the hole, and should I drill that hole (think i read its a #60 bit / .040 hole). please help want to get this thing back together.

You can use the later piston, you just have to be CERTAIN to use the sealing rings on the support for the mid 03+. Most all of the kits come with them in them.
Thank you. i saw a post of yours a couple of years ago where you drilled that bleed hole do i need to or leave it? thanks again.
