    What operating system do I want?

    I'm in the business and have had Windows 7 for quite some time. Works good and does not crash apps like XP. XP was a GREAT OS, but it's time has passed. Buy a low-end laptop from HP for all the software "bells and whistles", or from Dell to have a less "loaded down" laptop. :thumb:

    Squeeling was the U joints on the rear shaft. Dealers price on the U joints was insane so got some from the local auto store.

    Just had two of mine changed on the rear shaft due to the same reason. Dealer's price for the parts was close to $300.00, so they got some from O'reileys. Never replaced one myself so I just had them do it and I know I paid out the whazoo for the labor. Bit tired of taking it to the dealer, so...

    Will see what the dealer does about the squeeling. As far as my driving plans vs. the shocks... mainly highway and some towing. Occasional off the road but not unless I have to.

    it's not the transfer case oil as it looked new and i replaced it. The squeezing gets worse when the transmission changes to lower gears (engine rev) slowing down.     The noise sounds like it is coming from the transfer case. Kind of a metal on metal when slowly reversing. Squealing when going forward decreasing speed no brake applied. Transfer case oil is ok. Thoughts?
