    To Mikey52. You were correct in determining it was the digitizer touch screen. Swapped it out yesterday and it fixed the problem completely. Thanks !

    No it does not go off when put truck in gear. will disconnect battery in the morning. Disconnect both batteries or just one?

    Also if I turn ignition off the screen displays correct. When I start vehice is when the message comes up .
