    I noticed something when I was installing my wheelbearing ...it seems that my CV shaft doesn't slide through all away out where the splines are flush with the outside of the bearing...I torqued it with no wait on it 177 foot pounds backed it all the way out just to see where the splines would...

    Axle nut has been off once ...I'll do both sides and see how it goes torque axle nut to 177 footpounds with no weight on it

    I work at a diesel performance shop have installed numerous wheel bearings on these truck I've always torqued wheel bearing to 177 foot pounds with the wheel off the ground

    Wheels balance and aligned no vibration ..rare parts tierods Cognito idler and pittman arm braces and I had one moog bearing that was 2 weeks old fail on driver front then 2 weeks later oem bearing failed and snapped but had 100000 miles on it ....maybe weekend it when the first moog failed...

    I'll post pics in a hour it breaks clean off at bearing and snaps cv shaft....bearing is still bolted on truck with cv shaft broke flush with it
