    On mine I flipped that bracket around and I left the top fan shroud bracket on so I drilled a hole and bolted it to that so I didn't have to drill the radiator

    I may be a little late here but I have the 284 Flexalite fan setup on my truck, have had it for a while and i got a bracket kit for the 01-05 and the side mounts worked fine. i took the long piece that bolts on top and just flipped it over and bolted it to the old fan shroud hole and it works...

    For what its worth at this point when i bought my truck it had the edge cts loaded on the afe intake and a downpipe back exhaust with the egr on and it never smoked granted I had a lot of air coming in and on tow tune it would make 25 ish psi but I never had to hammer down to get it there.
