I noticed this as I was hopping in my truck this morning. It's the craziest thing. It looks like the paint cracked.

Help me decide on a 2015 lift

I'm talking about the center section where the GMC is chrome. Mine is all plastic and it looks to be part of the valance. Do you know if it is one piece? If it is, then I'd need to cut the valance in the middle to keep the center section. I'll get a picture in a bit. Also, how much room did...

Help me decide on a 2015 lift

I like the look. I plan to remove the valance. Is it one piece with the lower center section? I looked at it quickly and I didn't see a seam.

Help me decide on a 2015 lift

I want d to update the progress in the lift so far. I had Cognito ucas installed last week w keys and idler brace. I used the shock extenders because the truck came w Rancho shocks. Stock wheels are 265/60/20s. The plan is to go with 285/60/20s but the rims are back ordered so keeping the...

My '15 went in the shop yesterday

Just got a SEL yesterday. Had Onstar check it out and they said it was #1 out of range. Just brought it in and the dealer is going to replace it. What would cause this? The truck only has 3k miles on it. Really? Is this common? Also, it's used about 10g of def in 3k miles since new...

That's the perfect height. The wheels fill out the openings and look clean. Thanks for the pictures. Looks like I'm doing the 4" lift!

Is this the recommended wheel/tire combo w the leveling kit, or with the 4" kit?

Help me decide on a 2015 lift

Do you think it would have cleared w the leveling kit? I feel like I should just go for the 4" lift instead of doing the level and not being happy w the ride after because the tbars are too tight.

Help me decide on a 2015 lift

Here's another question about the tire size. From what I'm seeing, a 305/55/20 is 33.2"x12", and a 295/60/20 is 33.9"x11.6". Looks like yours are a bit wider, but not as tall. Stockers are 265/60/20, which work out to be 32.5"x10.4". With the 295s, I'd be going up about 1.5" and 1" wider.

Help me decide on a 2015 lift

Thanks Diesel. Are you using a leveling kit with your tires? Do you have any issues rubbing? Lastly, do you notice any power loss w the bigger tire, and did you recalibrate you computer for the new tires? Also, do you mind posting a couple pictures when you get a chance? Thanks again.

Help me decide on a 2015 lift

I Just picked up my first Chevy, a 2500 ccsb and love everything but the stance. The rear is 3" higher than the front. I would love to level it and put a bit larger tire under it. I've done the big lift in the past and want to stay mild with this truck as it is a dd. Stock tires are...
