Lost reverse (slipping badly)- TH400
In my sand drag truck I have a TH400 behind my ZZ502. It has lost reverse. Reverse works barely, but slips badly. You can feel it engage well, just little movement. All other gears seem to work fine. I have a '04 1500 suburban. Driving Saturday, no more than 1/2 throttle acceleration, BANG! Like, blew the rear-end out, driveshaft dragging bang. Pulled it over. Will not move in [OD] or [3rd]. Shut car off, no difference. Will move in [1st] and [2nd] only if selected manually. Will...- 502_Jimmy
