    OK. Sounds like I need to find someone with a Tech2. I've called around and nobody has one. Even the closest GM dealer acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. I'll try Springfield, Il. Surely they will have one. You guys rock! Thanks for all the help.

    Thanks guys. When I bought the truck in February the guy told me that he had just had the trans fluid and both filters changed as well as the gear lube in both diffs. I have no reason to disbelieve him but I guess you never know. I guess the best thing would be to go ahead and change the fluid...

    Thanks rgullett83, I did find that page before when I did a search but I don't have the equipment mentioned in the steps. All I have is an OBD reader and a volt meter. I guess I'll have to take it to the shop.
