    Slower after intake horn mod

    It was on two seperate nights. I ran in the 12.5s for a few passes one week. the next week it went into consisten 12.7s then on weds i did 3 passes all around 12.6s. Racings pretty much done around here for now so I have a while to mess with it.

    The one on the left is my best before the intake, and the one on the right is what it ran with the modified elbow. Last nights conditions were much better then the night I ran the 12.543 on too.

    I ran in the 12.5s a couple of weeks ago, after that i did the intake horn mod and ran consistant 12.7s. Do I need to make tuning adjustments with this mod?

My old brakes were shot all the way around, so I put EBC Yellow stuff on the front with dimpled rotors and EBC greenstuff on the back with their regular rotors, I even brought them to the dealership to have them bled through the ABS with a tech 2.     Slower ET's

    I was at 38 in the front and around 32 in the rear with 265/75- r16. I'll try to up the pressure a hair in the front and drop that back some and soften up the shocks. I'm thinking about getting Dustins slicks, but I want to see if I should just stay with taller tires since that worked best.

    Last year I was running pretty consistent high 12s at the track, this was with 18'' wheels 33'' Nitto terra grapplers, stock blown rear shocks with 150,000 on them and crappy pro comp front shocks. Now this year the last couple of times I have gone have been low 13s and I'm getting pissed...

    QA1 shocks

    Did you end up welding your shock mounts and redrilling them is that why you need the 1/2'' x 2 1/2'' bolts? I'm still debating on whether to keep the double adjustables or exchange them for single, I only live about an hour from Summit so I'm going to sleep on it.

    Thanks, I just read through the whole thread and saw where you said you werent sure about mix matching brands. I have rancho 9000s on the rear so I'm going to give it a shot I'll let you know how it goes.

    I thought there was a guy on the DP named Mick with a red truck from austria(or some other country) that did a rear mount. I'm not sure if he did twins though.
