    I can't find a good picture, but the charge air cooler tubes on a Cummins QSK19 use two pieces of flat stock at tube connections. There is a bung welded onto the pipe, and the flat stock bolted to one side, and a slotted hole on the other end of the flat stock to allow expansion/contraction...

    Would it help to get cooler air to your intake? Seems like you might get more heat with the intake so close to the engine, compared to potentially how it would be installed real world? Might give you lower temps = a little more power? Like maybe put a 5' pipe on the intake to get slightly cooler...

    Do you know if you wired the twisted pair for the obd port, and if you switched around the yellow wire for the transmission wiring? I can get pictures if needed, but if you have no idea what I'm talking about, then you may need to conduct these wiring projects first.

    2005 2500 puzzle

    My big thing was oil leaks. I re-did the gasket on the oil pans while the engine was out, as they were leaking quite a bit. Cover the leaks while the engine is out would my my suggestion.

    Yellow wire on the C100 plug lined up? I've heard that this effects the dash transmission indicator. I also had an issue that I didn't have the plug in the rear of the transmission plugged in, and so the engine couldn't tell what gear it was in, and thus would not start because it thought it...

    What year 1500HD? You will likely still need to move wires in either case to match what the LBZ wants to see. On the plugs, some of the colors should be the same on each side, and I wouldn't tie together unmatched colors...
