Yeah man I'm still lurking in the shadows. Been on here pricing some stuff for some new upgrades. I broke my flexplate and need to do head gaskets so I'm looking into manifolds and injectors, etc.
Well just to update everyone- I needed my truck in a bit of a rush and dint' have time to order and wait on a battery. My local autoparts store had a 800 CCA AcDelco stock sized battery i picked up to use in the truck for $107. I installed it and it turned the truck over like it was nothing...
Well my batteries are donesies..
Anybody have a link to what diehard platinum AGM would be best? I'm wanting to run a single now to make way for a bit more air in the future.
I'm right at sea level here in Charleston, SC. I've seen 50 at max, but typically around the 45 mark most times I run it.
Not bad for some stock injectors i guess. lol:woott:
Is there anyway around this? I'd rather go beefy the first time for longevity. I'm just not sure which way to go as mine is a weekend warrior and DD. I'm just kind of amazed there isn't a nice engineered kit for this yet.
With that many miles it wouldn't be a bad idea to throw a new CP3 on it at that point while it's all apart and it will be right in front of you. I would do that before any of the easier stuff.
