Anybody renting or loaning out their main seals intall tools for a LB7. I have the motor out and want to do it right. I could beat'em in with a hammer but why chance it?
It takes around 3 days for paypal to transfer money to my bank account. I don't think they charge a fee just to send money from one paypal account to another though.
I agree. It's in the future but not if I need a new cp3 or something. I've got no rail pressure. As a last resort I took off a high pressure line and got barely a drip while cranking it. I'm in denial with the injector thing. They're brand freakin new.
Can anyone give me the wiring of a fuel pressure sensor on a lb7. I bought the truck a couple of years ago and the previous owner chopped the plug off of the harness for some reason. It has cheesey spade terminals crimped on now but I don't know in which order they plug into the sensor.
thanks for the help guys. I'll start easy and double check cam and crank sensor operation. then proceed to verify rail pressure. would a bad fpr be an issue?
i built the motor myself. my first common rail but not my first motor. the valve lash was adjusted within GM spec. if the fuel pressure sensor doesn't see 1000-1500psi the injectors wont fire? that sounds like what's going on. i don't have efi live or a tech2 to see psi while cranking.
