    Favorite tool thread

I have a new favorite. Got a "bolt buster", which is an induction coil. Had a bolt head red hot in 10 seconds, no more flame or wasting tons of pb blaster haha

CastFlow Manifolds and Up Pipes Still on sale!!

I want to get these so bad to install when the trans is built next week but I just can't swing the $875 at the same time :( I know my dp is rubbing a bit and being able to position everything with the trans out would be good haha.

    Snap-on Solus

I have a verus edge, had the solus before. Honestly they are great machines. A tech ii is better for our trucks if that's your only concern, but the snap on has a wider database of other vehicles as well. Except for some commands, the snap on will let you monitor pretty much any value

    LB7 PCV re-route??

Unless you have ungodly amounts of blow by you won't see any oil. Now and then depending on atmospheric conditions you can see the gasses exiting the hose when the truck is running , but I've never seen a drip.

    LB7 PCV re-route??

Most peeps don't run a can, no need unless you just feel like it or want to offset our environmental abuse. CCV is different than PCV in that you don't need to complete a vacuum loop.

    LB7 PCV re-route??

I got the DRP billet plugs and used 5/8 from each valve cover. Both routed down passenger side frame using DHDs method for under hood routing. Driver side hose loops over turbo mouthpiece in front of firewall and drops down near fuel filter

Quiet and best options for 100-150gph lift pump?

With the Kennedy you get his mega kit or plumb in your own filter selection. Still safe to delete the stock one as much as you are with the other LP options. I'm leaving mine in though, don't see a need to remove it and I like the thought of a final polishing filter

Quiet and best options for 100-150gph lift pump?

I'm running a Kennedy single. Totally silent even with truck off. Need to check measurements to verify it even runs lol. I didn't think the price increasss for other options were worth it for me. If I was going to get a pre done pump it would be a fass over AD for sure. Happy I went with...

PPE manifolds & up pipes , Duramax store brand or??

Rick, any comments on using cerakote as the end user to coat your manifolds/uppipes? Can you speak at all to the ceramic coatings you use without giving away any classified info? And your comment speaks to my overall mindset. Eliminate the shortcuts and ill-thought out GM designs where they...
