    You didn't leave the batteries sitting on concrete did you? Even on a charger that will still kill them (that was an expensive lesson for me).

    Spin your load around on the trailer. That way the engine would be on the trailer axles. Put it right where it is on the trailer just reverse. You would still have weight on the truck just not as much.
