    I just smelled the oil and it doesn't smell at all like diesel. I got no check engine light and even had a friend tell me it's a common duramax thing. I don't really want to drive it till I know though

    Hey guys. My 03 duramax has suddenly started acting funky on the gauge. When letting off the gas it drops to 0. When I push the gas it will go back up but not quite to where it used to. Anyone have a suggestion where to start?

    I originally filled it with just under 3 qts of transynd. After I had the problem I have now just filled it up to the fill hole with auto trak II

    I changed the actual sensor. Is there something I could have done by filling it up through that hole as far as inside the tcase
