It's in the cluster. I seen a company selling the software to program the cluster on amazon a few weeks ago. I don't know if the DIY guys have gotten around to truck clusters yet
I lost my 1st pump after 6 years or so, but it was my own fault. I was running it unfiltered to the pump and got some bad fuel. It wore the impeller down where it rides on the post from the grit going through it. I installed a 30 micron pre-filter on it to prevent it from happening again. To me...
I still remember EFILIVE promising us we would never be forced to update. If we were on an older version that worked, we would be good. Now you have to update if you want any more licenses. It's not a huge problem, just irks me were forced to update.
To add mote confusion to it, the 2.2 kw for the old and 3.5 kw for the new style numbers were from ac delco. Just looked up the numbers from REMY, and they rate the old style at 2.2 kw, but the new style starter is only 1.8 kw per there catalog. So who knows.
I would recommend getting an ac delco. I've had good luck with GDP, but they use there own type of service ports that are not replaceable, so if a schrader fails/leaks, you have to replace the whole line instead of just the schrader/port.
Pretty sure the 3 wire pressure transducer is gas only, I've never seen a diesel that used one. Diesel's kept the low pressure switch on the accumulator, high pressure cutout switch, and the 350 on to 250 off recirc switch. It wouldn't be the 1st time GM printed incorrect ac 8nfo on the Duramax...
They use a 29 spline, not 31 or 32 spline.
And Içm not sure about mounting a Dodge transfer case to a GM trans. I know a GM transfer case will bolt to a Dodge trans using 5 of the bolt's(most of the time you can drill a hole for the 6th bolt), but GM and Dodge used the same trans to case...
I run silicone hoses on my heater core lines(not PPE's or MISHIMOTOS, bulk hose I got locally). GM used silicone from the factory on the heater hoses on 6.5 SUB's because of how close they ran to the engine. I used the stock spring clamps and have never noticed and coolant drips or leaks, but I...
