I drove it a fair amount yesterday and cannot duplicate what she is describing. ATF looks okay? Definitely not burnt. But at 182,000 miles, it wouldn't surprise me if it ends up being transmission related.- 036.6turbo

Thanks Mike. My googling is turning up some drama about a 3-5-R wave plate being a common failure. With hers having that many miles on it, if I can find a low mile replacement, I may just swap it out.- 036.6turbo

Well, my daughters car is acting up again. (we just did timing chains on it a couple months ago.) 2009 Acadia 3.6 VVT motor AWD with 180,000 miles on it. Now she is complaining of a low speed stutter or hesitation. It almost sounds like the transmission is slipping. It will be next week...- 036.6turbo

FASS vs. Airdog????
I bought mine NIB, second hand, the guy bought it and never installed it. Right after I installed the check ball assembly stuck and the pump blew the inline fuse. I called FASS, and has a replacement check ball fitting in (2) days. No questions asked. I have no experience with AD.- 036.6turbo

They make a sticker and apply it to the driver's side door jamb. The VIN they assign is only for licence plates registration etc. They make no effort to correlate it back to the manufacturer's VIN. Any of your RPO codes would need to be referenced back to the OEM VIN.- 036.6turbo

As long as you have receipts for the parts, with VIN numbers from the donor trucks and those VIN numbers are not logged in as stolen, you'll be fine. On a full cab replacement in Michigan, they will actually assign the truck a new VIN. Not sure about NY. But they know the replacement cab is...- 036.6turbo
