Yeah, that looks pretty BEEFY! I don't think I need that, lol Good to know! Thanks Brett Yeah man, that's exactly what and why I was thinking to do, running both chargers into opposite end tanks and exit out the center top...probably want a custom intercooler to efficiently work with that...

Ls2 would be SWEET! :woott: Anything will be SWEET with the proper application of parts and attention, your opportunities are limitless in the platform you're delving into Corey! The LS2 is the obvious choice for a lighter "entry level" block that offers significant displacement, although...

    Remote mount turbo setups

I'm thinking about a full engine bay shave, relocate all the electronics and everything but the hardware and plumbing gets removed from the engine bay and relocated. Under the drink holder in the center console would be a nice area for the ECM/TCM and fuse box, the batteries can get strapped...

    Remote mount turbo setups

Does anyone know how many lbs per minute their kit is moving? I have an Idea for a dual remote turbo set up, with each turbo being powered by one engine bank and the charge air collecting in an intercooler... The turbo's I have in mind are actually smaller than stock, but flow about 20lbs a...

    gt4718/DP72mm vgt

Dont forget how the torque converter plays into spool up time and power delivery at launch and each shift :thumb: The 72 moves a good amount of exhaust volume...I think I'd step up to a looser housing on the 4718 right off the bat, "in theroy" I like the 1.08 A/R on the 4718... I also live at...

New duramax rods iv been working on

What I don't get is, this is a product that the OP said HE WAS personally working on...yet he knows nothing about them. It would seem like he is "working on" being on of the 1st vendors supplying this rod, trying to take an unproven product and run with it, with high hopes and complete disregard...

    Help me decide

I've tried to put all the pieces in place on a stock bottom end, to be ready for a built engine "when the time came" with nearly the same power goal and power achieved, as you're thinkin and have lost two, yes 2, GM built engines. And guess what, when the first one broke things didn't work out...

    Help me decide

Spending the money overnight and spending over a period of months are two entirely different scenarios, one of which is significantly more cumbersome, for everyone Being broken aint cool no matter how ya spin it and the power numbers you're talking about only lead down one road

    Help me decide

Buy a block, get it machined and start piecing it together. Sell your running engine to make up for the cost incurred on the built one, once its in the engine bay. From there go for your power goals. Doing it the right way doesn't look as good on paper as it plays out in the real world ;)
