I got a buddy that is a huge 7.3 guy. Always talking about how they never break anything and last forever. Hes always giving me shit whenever i break something on one of the duramaxs or cummins.Im quick to remind him its hard to break anything when you only make 200 hp to the tires😂😂- slowlml

Air filters for High CFM air flow?
S&b will custom make you filters. At least they use to cause i had it done on another truck of mine. I'm running a power driven diesel on my race truck and have been happy with it so far.- slowlml

I sure as hell would if he is having all the issues be described. Im confused though. You said you swapped a pretuned ecm in and it ran fine thats why you are ruling out hard parts. Why didnt you just keep that ecm in the truck? It would have had to been tuned for your truck to begin with so...- slowlml

Lbz turbo upgrade advice
I would definitely go through the transmission before you do a bigger charger. No fun in having the air if you cant use it and it sounds like youre even babying it now. That big tune could limp that transmission easily.- slowlml

If you are staying with vgt you cant go wrong with one of Marks turbos at Danville Performance. Woldfab makes a nice drop in turbo also. Whats a mild built transmission consist of? Whats your goals for the truck hp wise?- slowlml

Swapping it to cp3, sending the injectors off, and cleaning everything else would be a much miuch cheaper and easier option. -

Fuel in crankcase, lots of fuel!
Hate to say it but being where the injectors are from i wouldnt completely rule out that its the injectors. Heard of guys having bad ones right out the box. This is how i do it. https://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/threads/lb7-return-line-leak-test.75913/ Really good thread with pictures. Can...
