    I picked up a used Sportsman CP3 off a member here today. He had it in a plastic bag that was tied shut with some diesel still in the pump. I'm not sure how long it had been off his truck, but looked good to me.

    I know of trucks holding 700 while getting beat on constantly and I know of trucks that broke with just a mild canned tuner. Roll the dice but it's expensive if you lose.

    Around here every diesel is expensive except 6.5 and earlier. Sometimes 6.0 powerstrokes can be bought reasonably but with RCD right down the road even those can bring a premium.

    If you get injectors go for 100s. They can be tuned down now and can be turned up later... I wish i would have done that.

    Yeah the truck runs great so I guess I shouldn't worry about the dyno numbers much. I do have an up pipe gasket that is bad now though. I'm picking up a sportsman pump on the 2nd too so if that was an issue it won't be anymore.

    No I didn't log it. I kind of doubt the CP3 could be weak with the low miles. This was only the 2nd diesel they had dynoed. They said they were telling the dyno the truck weighed 15k lbs to try to load it. If it wasn't in od what would the effect be?

    I don't know what gear they ran it in. I thought it should make 600 because that's what every other truck with this turbo that I've heard of has made.
