    I'm pretty happy with my 1500 Duramax. In town mpg runs in the low to mid 20's. Out on the road I'm high 20's low 30's.

    It should fire without the glow plugs. Check to make sure you have voltage to the glow plugs themselves when they are on. Could be a relay. Also check to make sure you have fuel pressure when cranking. I am just east of KC.

    How many people on here use 20 volt Dewalt tools? I have a rack system that I have built and I would like to sell some of them. I have been using mine for years as a test. The new ones will hold batteries and / or tools and I have several sizes. Offset for wall mount and straight for shelf mount.

    Well I finally did it!

    I'm just driving it. I've done some towing and so far I'm pretty impressed. Seats took some getting used to and the engine shutting off at a stop light sucks!

    2020 Silverado 1500 Ecodiesel anybody going to buy one?

    I bought a new one yesterday and drove it 662 miles home. Hand calculated MPG was 29.1 I was all over the place on speed though. Up to 80 a few times. Road construction had me parked on I-70 a few times too.

    Well I finally did it!

    I finally broke down and bought the 1500 Duramax I have been wanting. Picked it up yesterday 662 miles from home with 51 miles on the odometer. The trans makes it seem pretty spunky. The engine will hit 4000 rpm no problem. I made it home on one tank of fuel and averaged 29 MPG hand calculated...
