    When to upgrade!!

    Very possible. But being they canceled my order and when I called the Holley they informed me that muffler is discontinued I figured trying to get it from another place like Amazon wasn't worth it. Yellowchevy

    I looked at Amazon and the lead time was a month longer than from speedway at the time. Decided not to take the chance and get a different muffler. Might be a bad idea...:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: Yellowchevy

    Maybe, I don't know. I ask the person I talked to but they didn't have any information. It's scheduled to get here Tuesday but we're also supposed to get an ice storm tomorrow morning so we'll see when I can get it installed...

    Right before Christmas I ended up ordering one of the Flowmaster 15020100 Hushpower Pro Series muffler. Supposed to get it middle of January. We'll see how this ones does!!

    That aeroturbine muffle is like that and didn't seem to make a difference. This design by flowmaster has me interested. Only issue I see it they only make a 4" muffler. Flowmaster Hushpower Yellowchevy

    MBRP Quiet Muffler If you scroll down to the review section the first picture on the left someone put a picture of the inside. From the picture it just have louvers that look to grab the air that comes through and those said louvers are in a spiral form. I'll have to look at the flowmaster...

    I know, I about shit my paints!!! I was thinking close to $500 worse case but I was wrong. When I was in high school a neighbor needed a muffler for is forklift so he threw a chain into a piece of 4" square tubing and that quieted it down alot... hahaha Makes me think I should try that...

There was a section that extended forward where you plug the stock sockets into the taillight but this section would hit a support...

    I had forgotten about those donaldson mufflers. I don't know if I have room for a 40" muffler, that 30" muffler was close without have to redo all the hangers..
