    if it is the sealing rings. does the trans have to be pulled to fix it. would the rings be the place to start.

    it is parked in the garage.

    If it sits for a week or so there is a delay before moving in reverse or forward. once it gets going runs and shifts fine. think it could be the seals around the pump shaft? If is, what kind of job would it be to replace them.
