    When you blew he fuse during the jump start how do you know if the alternator isn't fried? Why not pull it and have it tested?

    Ya what Pat said! Remember in the 1970's when Detroit ended the muscle car era because of emissions. And look at today's MASS PRODUCED MUSCLE CARS. Their faster with better emissions and better fuel economy. :)
