    #@%$@#$ Tree Rats!

I know a few people that have had luck with the high pitched devices too. But I will say it can come with a downside "IF" you can hear it. I am the only one who can, but holy hell is it obnoxious.

    Exergy CP4 Longevity??

How many miles have you put on the CP4? Do you know if they did anything internally to keep them from having the normal catastrophic failure? But also good to know about an Exergy CP3 conversion that will eliminate the tuning issues associated with the conversion in the works. Maybe I should...

    Exergy CP4 Longevity??

Pretty much. I can’t find anything on what has or hasn’t been changed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Exergy CP4 Longevity??

Surging is the biggest, along with a conversion kit cost. I also haven't heard of a kit that fits perfect, fuel lines ect.

    Exergy CP4 Longevity??

So I've been looking for information on the Exergy CP4 and can't find too much. I've seen a few people who run them, but does anyone actually know if Exergy did anything to keep it from coming apart in spectacular fashion? I've read too much about issues with a CP3 conversion and honestly...

    DHD Brace with leveled truck

The nylon rides on the diff and is what supports the brace. Some trucks the brace doesn't make contact and there is a small gap. It then makes contact under load. THe LML brace is different and rides on a roller. So it depends on the application.

    LML vs L5P

I have some seat time in an L5P and only bought the LML because of tuning availability. If you were to keep it stock, the LML might as well feel like a 12v cummins in comparison. I was scared to death to ever pull out and pass on a two lane road when my LML was stock. My buddy has an L5P and...

    Shock extension vs Factory

I most definitely needed extensions/spacers after cranking or changing Torsion keys. The 5100s are more aggressive than stock but not enough to ruin your ride. You probably lifted it too far for the factory length and allowed more drop out and the shocks are at their limit. Sent from my...

DHD Brace or Flat CV Angle?

Thanks guys for all your replies and putting up with my elementary questions. I know this got majorly derailed from the original topic, but it’s been very helpful for me. I’m just trying to get this truck set up the right way because I’ll have it for the foreseeable future. Sent from my...

DHD Brace or Flat CV Angle?

Not trying to make old news new news, but wouldn't you create a toe out condition after dropping down a significant amount? Or are the tie rods close enough to the control arm length that it isn't impacted? Counting turns or measuring to return to normal is easy, that wouldn't be my concern.

DHD Brace or Flat CV Angle?

This just sounds like an alignment nightmare.

DHD Brace or Flat CV Angle?

Yes, diff spacers. Hard to lower a transfer case bolted to a transmission:roflmao: The dumb side of me didn't really think about the upward force on the center link that would cause it to essentially be bent in a "U" shape. Seems pretty damn obvious once you actually look at it.

DHD Brace or Flat CV Angle?

Good point, I never really thought the front was that much higher than bottom of the rear. If dropping the front doesn't make it lower than the rear, I'm good with that. My ground clearance issues have always been high centering with this limo. It already has poly bushings and kryptonite...

DHD Brace or Flat CV Angle?

I thought about doing something like this, but most of these kits won't clear a factory wheel. I'm also concerned about ground clearance after dropping it all down to run the spindles. This truck is by no means a race truck. I use it mainly to get up in the hills for camping/hunting and...

DHD Brace or Flat CV Angle?

It’s really either or at this point. I’m not interested in changing the ride height yet. I’m trying to figure out which one of the two is going to work the best. If I can’t get it going straight with one it will be back to the drawing board completely since the two don’t work together. Sent...

DHD Brace or Flat CV Angle?

So I'm having a hard time deciding which to do. I'm on basically a stock size tire, but have the torsion bars cranked a little to help level the truck, but not completely level. It's cranked enough to change the CV angle, but not enough where I think I must drop the t-case. My LB7 was 2wd so...

    Best Exterior Detailing Products

Chemical Guys Black Light wax has been the best thing I have used on dark paint. I haven't ceramic coated anything personally, but if it holds up it would be nice.
