I had the same problem happen to me. I hated not knowing what position I was in. I got another washer and that fixed it. Hopefully you can get one too, quick.
I was able to use a ohm meter and find my big tune in the meantime.
When I snapped my aluminum shaft on my CCSB LMM I asked the shop if I could have a steel shaft made like the one on my ECSB. He said no. Something about it blowing up after a certain RPM or speed. Never understood that.

I agree. But the fact of the matter is that numbers sell. People like boasting how much hp/tq they have stock. Egos are pretty high in each Chevy/GMC/Ford/Ram camp.
