What did you do at work today?
Google Redline rebuilds. How I rebuilt my thunderbird transmission. It's on Youtube. The guy doing it is pretty messy. Never got it clean enough. Doubt it worked the first time around.- Mike L.

Limped the Trans on the LLY
LLY valve body will need the G solenoid as the TCM will be looking for it and '03 doesn't have it. Valve body will interchange along with matching harness '03 had a cooler fitting change in mid year. GM has the interchange fittings so it can easily be done.- Mike L.

PPE stage V
You are running Alto red clutches with a stock PR spring and transgo shift kit. Clutches are probably glazed by now. Install the PR spring without the shim. Install my trim springs and call it a day. Hopefully the C3/C4 pistons will hold up.- Mike L.

So called kits rarely fit properly and are only clutch and Trango kits. The sellers have no idea how a Allison works and just want the money. Buy Evans kit.- Mike L.

What did you do at work today?
They were called Fordamatic back then. They evolved into the cast iron Cruisematic. Later evolved into the FMX. Just an old automatic from the 50's and 60's. I started in this business in '66. Seen a lot of changes. Kept up with all of them to this day. Been a good ride.:thumb::D- Mike L.
