Before you start the truck check the primer. If soft pump it till hard. Start truck and drive around. Turn the truck off and let it sit for a while. Check it to see if its hard again. It doesn't stay hard you've probably got a leak. Does the truck start right away? Look for any signs of Diesel...- Pure Diesel

How many miles on the truck? Have you checked to see if the fuel filter primer button is hard after this happens? If it isn't, try pushing the button and see if it gets hard. If it doesn't you might look into rebuilding or replacing the filter head. Check the rubber hoses too.- Pure Diesel

There are two stats. The 180 deg. goes to the back and the 186 deg. is in the front. Remove air conditioning compressor and put aside, remove oil filler tube, clean up the mating surfaces, install stats, re-install housing, bleed the system thoroughly, top off fluid, dbl check that the system...- Pure Diesel

Daytime running light question
The bulb for the DRL is of too much wattage. The bulb gets too hot and starts to melt the socket. I just bought new sockets and LED DRL's and installed them. Been going strong for about 7-8 years. Injector cleaning
Update. Have put another 2243 miles and 4 tanks of fuel. First tank mpg was 15.61 with 75% city and 25% hwy. Second tank mpg was 13.68 50% city and 50% hwy. I did do a double out to Johnson Valley for King of the Hammers. Pretty much flat driving not much for hills. Third tank mpg was 10.07 and...- Pure Diesel
