My scan gauge showed 1.2 gal left, and its usually pretty accurate. I had to fill up at this point cause I wouldnt make it home and back to the station, but as you can see I pumped 24.3gal, I have put in 25 many times.
Are you talking about how people put it in 4lo and Manual mode 3 and go....?
Thats not starting in 3rd, it starts in 1 and moves up to 3rd.
I do this when I pull....
keep filling up at that pump...you are getting more fuel that it says :rofl:
Seriously, I am about out of fuel, I will go fill up prolly tomorrow and film it. I bet I can get 25 gals. in without running empty....
wont fit.
Tuning is in ECM, I just got done adjusting tuning on a transfer flow tank for a guy.
Our tanks hold 26 gallons. plus a little in the filler lol.
I have put 25.+ gallons in my truck many times :eek:
its because with the 1792 or ppe pump uses factory pickup (which has a cup on the bottom of it) the air dog is a straw, and theres nothing at the end of it to keep the fuel at the bottom of the straw when the fuel start moving around.
:confused::confused::confused:
Just skip first gear if you want to ditch a gear, otherwise adjust shift points as needed. Dont make it too complicated. You will find better results at the track playing with the ECM rather than all your work in the TCM.
I have been saying this since I first heard of the draw straw issue ;)
All you need is a cup that can hold enough fuel until the fuel sloshing back can make it back to the cup and refill. Like the factory pickup...
IMO a straw going to the bottom of the tank itself is an idiotic idea, lol.
