    What makes you say that? Heads will be mildly ported, stock cam. I suppose worst case scenario, I have to go to a proven turbo setup.

I know I can make more power with different chargers but with the entire truck build being sub 10K it's tough to justify the money when I can probably do it with these. I don't...

    Yeah, HE351's. Hoping the small exhaust housing will help them light quick. Plus they were basically free which warranted at least trying them out. Plan on welding the gates on the housings shut and running a pair of 44mm external gates to keep them in check.

    Thanks! Around 20psi should get the job done for just about anything I need. At least on paper. If I ever decide to test the short block, 30ish psi. It's only a ballpark since I'm having a bit of trouble finding maps to plug in for these Holsets.

    Thanks! No intercooler for now. Packaging was a major issue. It's a low boost setup so I'm hoping IAT heat won't be too big of a problem. Going to work the math and see what it comes up. I'll add a water kit on a hobbs switch if I need to later. Doubt I'll have it out before first snow...

    Had a few asking on another site, so it's probably time for an update. Still slowly making progress. Bedsides and front panel are on and hanging on the bed for now. Still need to finish rear panel and diffuser. The look is kind of "off" until I can give the lower the nose's final line/shape...

    I may have missed it Tom but what year engine are you looking for? I've been coming across complete engines locally for <$1000. They usually have a headgasket or bearing issue but usually no major damage. Even with shipping you would be money ahead.

    I think it depends on what you really want out of the truck Tom. I don't think you could beat LS power for best bang for the buck in the speed/power department but a Dmax would definitely be a cool different powerplant. If you're planning on streeting it quite a bit, the mileage advantage...

    This. Has a steam cleaning effect on the intake and heads, removing all the EGR/PCV sludge. Looks good! :thumb:
