    Haha imo it would be silly to entertain a large diesel truck if the only purpose would be to drive to work. The main reason would be to add a toy hauler and camper to the stable and then double as a daily driver.

    Yes I'm going to tow a camper/toy hauler. The ones we are looking at are in the 4-5k dry weight range pull behind. It would also be my daily commuter which is a whopping 5 miles round trip. As far as warming it up, we do that with gas engines here any way.

    That was a typo on an app on my phone. Maybe the 6.0 gasser is what I needed then.

    Do not own a diesel. Looking at 06-7.5 GMC quad cab. A friend mentioned a good point about driving to work daily. I go 2.5 miles each way so the truck would frequently be used for short drives. Would this be an issue? I live in Iowa it gets pretty cold here. Jesse
