    I towed on my 285-50-20 420s all the time in florida (7k lbs) I towed 12k from Florida to Idaho when I moved here over 3k miles and no issues.

    that isn't something we can control. We can tell the converter to lock all we want but like Mike said, if the speed differences are greater than what the TCM allows it wont lock. Lock up box is the best way around this.

    Question: Russell brake line differences (are there any over the years)?

    The Cognito UCAs are pretty easy to install. just mark the eccentric washer so you get the alignment somewhat close while you drive to the alignment shop. Other than that a couple wrenches and a pickle fork are all you really need.
