    I know Verlon that worked for Idaho Rob back in the day cracked a de-lipped lb7 piston at 650hp with compounds and injectors. But he was towing and pulling hills at wot on the big tune. I don't think he had an oil temp gauge so really high oil temp could have definitely played a role in that...

    Put in the trans-go, load up the ole 150 tune, lock it in 4th and let her eat. You will be limited to about 85 mph but you can have some fun! You will have to build it eventually but a friend of mine done that for maybe a year and a half and the trans was still holding strong when he had it...

    My cousin has a 2016 LML with a sportsman cp3 conversion, Airdog, and Marks tunes. The truck runs great except it defuels so hard and long before each shift you will almost hit your head on the windshield. No codes, I bet it cuts fuel for a full 1.5 - 2 seconds between shifts, no exaggeration...

    So how about the Mahle OE pistons, best I can tell they are still being used in the wagler streetfighter engines. I can't believe they aren't having a lot of issues by now, it's been long enough.

    We have a 2016 LML with engine code PO26C ( Fuel injection quantity – Quantity lower than expected ) This truck has 49,000 miles on it and is cp3 swapped. I have searched and have not been able to find a thread where someone got this issue fixed. Any ideas?

    It won't hurt to try but I would bet money a different filter won't change it. A thicker oil would probably tone it down..

    They also do it worse when hot (thinner oil). I have noticed Amsoil does it really bad and I believe it has something to do with it being so slick. If rotella was worse I'm guessing you were running the 5w-40 synthetic which would make since to me being a thinner oil even when not hot.

    They consistently typewriter tick worse when the oil is fresh from my experience, I don't believe you have any problems at all but if it bothers you you can try running the filter you usually run and see if that helps.

    Thankfully it was not the crank on my cousins built motor, it was a lift pump issue.
