Lmm water pump failed in crater lake OR

Hi, No specific shops I can recommend down south, but you have 3 choices: Bend, Medford, and Klamath Falls. All large enough they would have multiple repair choices. Bend, 2 hours away, Medford is about 1hr 45min, Klamath Falls is closest at 1hr 15 min from Crater Lake.

    HVAC system stuck on heater

Diagram in post #6 is correct, at least it matches the official GM FSM. Blend doors control cold/hot temp, there is one for the driver and one for the passenger side on trucks with independent L/R air temp controls whether manual or automatic option. Driver blend door is not visible in the...

Lby issues (03 with 05 top end)

I took a look at the trace. You've probably already seen this, but I noticed at the beginning where the truck is idling, GM.MAINRATE (mm3) is bouncing around from 0 to about 5mm3. I'm no expert, but seems low? My LB7 idles around 18-20mm3.

Congrats Mark! 8s 1/4 mile with an Allison!

Damn that is awesome. The in-cab view in the video is really cool too.

no power to right trailer brake light

Super glad you got it sorted out, and thanks for posting up the resolution. It really helps others who may be reading this thread years later. Here's a partial schematic of the flasher module internal wiring. I traced things on the circuit board because I was curious about the logic. I...

no power to right trailer brake light

Doesn't sound good. Something must have been knocked loose or there is a fuse blown or relay knocked out of place. U1064 indicates the BCM is not talking over the class 2 serial bus.

no power to right trailer brake light

Take a look at the VEH STOP fuse in the left side dash fuse panel. The 2 relays on the left side of your flasher module are for left and right brake/trailer brake/turn. The single one on the right creates the on/off signal for the turn signals. I will post a schematic I made for this if I get...

no power to right trailer brake light

Kyle I think you're right. Probably a bad/corroded terminal on one of the internal relays inside the flasher module. One clarification however - terminal J is the right turn fuse for the truck turn signal, terminal C is trailer right side turn/brake circuit that leads to the "RT TRLR ST/TURN"...

    Lb7 no start??

Glad you got it fixed. Thanks for posting up the resolution, for others in the future who may be facing similar issues with their truck as we try to keep our old LB7's on the road. :thumb:

    The new Limo

That sucks James. I'm convinced some people intentionally go screw with vehicles that are parked out in the boonies in parking lots because they see someone with nice stuff and can't handle the envy.

    LLY: ABS light on

The thread is on the "other" diesel forum, not sure if it's cool to post a link? EDIT: James says OK. https://www.dieselplace.com/threads/tire-recalibration-w-tech-2.79016/ See the 4th post from "DURAtotheMAX" Also the factory service manual specifies tire size must be configured in the...

    LLY: ABS light on

The EBCM (ABS) module has a tire size calibration value programmed in. From what I've read in an old thread from Ben, this is just a calibration value for the wheel speed sensors, doesn't affect the speedometer at all. It's configurable with a Tech2. Since you have all 3 codes (FL, FR, Rear...

    02 LB7 Trans De Fueling

I think it was post #117 from the thread you referenced. I just grabbed your "LB7 & LLY Defuel Calculation experiment.xls" file from post #117 and I'm seeing the same error as RMJ_LB7 noted in post #13 in this thread. Using Excel 365. The New TLIQ table is getting a bad reference from the...

I need a little electrical help

That is true about brushed motors, but when used as a flyback diode, it becomes forward biased in the presence of these large back EMF voltages. So reverse voltage breakdown spec only needs to meet ~14v (with some margin). Most important diode spec in this application is peak forward surge...

I need a little electrical help

Those are snubber diodes aka flyback diodes. Commonly used in DC motor circuits to suppress voltage spikes created from back EMF when the fan motor is switched off.

    Connector id

Doesn't look stock. :roflmao: I did a quick scan through the FSM didn't see a 6 position single row connector right offhand. What does the wiring connect into? If you could trace it back to some other connection that would help tremendously.
