Excuse me if I missed it but what S480 setup did you go with. I am considering ditching my old school S475 for a new S482SXE turbo and would like to stay up to date on your runs.

I have a few inches if I remember correctly 3". I just cut my factory bump stops down otherwise I would have been in the same boat not travel before the bump stop. Haven't hit it yet with racing or on the street.

    Rear Suspension Setup

I can this weekend if that works? I would two jobs so not much time other than to shower and sleep Monday - Friday. Last year when I had the 2 leafs it just had the drop shackles. Not sure if changing the front hanger height would have helped or hurt that issue. I had to crank my Caltracs...

    Rear Suspension Setup

It wouldn't hurt at all good long stroke shocks with about a 200lb spring I would think. I even considered a sway bar to help as well.

    Rear Suspension Setup

Yes the ass end sets good. Still have some fine tuning on the shocks. I think I have the rebound set correctly just need to work on the compression. I think it needs a little more to slow the settling in off the launch. I wish I could get someone to video my launch from outside the truck to see...

    Rear Suspension Setup

We did but my issues was up and down movement as well as side to side. I also couldn't get enough pressure on the leafs with the Caltracs to stop the hopping off the line. I was going to try 3 leafs but didn't want to deal with pulling them and adding the 4th if needed so I said heck with it...

    Rear Suspension Setup

Yep Mcgaugthy would be the one. Stupid auto correct. It's not as low as I would like because I went back to a full leaf pack minus the overloads but I needed the extra springs to control the weight transfer. Last year with two leafs it was way to soft. Yes I cleaned out everything that I...

Brush on Rust-Oleum Satin. It self levels pretty well. McGrarth hangers with 3" drop shackles so it drops it around 4"-5”. Still the long bed yes.

    Rear Suspension Setup

I have other ideas that where given to me from a race car fabricator on how to setup a 3 link with using my current shocks without going crazy on fabrication lol. Thanks I had some awesome assistance with ideas and welding from some great friends.

    Rear Suspension Setup

I know a few guys have asked me about my rear suspension setup so here are some pictures. The tubing is 2"x2" 3/16" wall. Those are dual adjustable coilover shock bodies. I wish I would have put in mounts that went farther down the axle tube or a bracket that was welded to the bottom to have...
