I built a Trans for a customers lml and he had the 68stg2r and it dynod 630rwhp with ppei tunes. Seems odd for Kory to be 200hp less then someone else? But glad you got the truck running better :thumb:- DIESELMAFIAPER.LB7

We already know a bunch 445/900 continental controller denso fuel system, Borg warner turbo. Same frame and body other then the hood I'm curious to see if they went reverse flow heads like it looks they did- DIESELMAFIAPER.LB7

Yeah the 1053-2 is 3000 stall vs 2800 iirc. I got a 1055 coming be here Thursday so pull the trans replace the c1s and throw the converter in and maybe a billet input shaft. Then try and come race friday- DIESELMAFIAPER.LB7

It will drive more down the road then race by a long shot. I'll go with the 1055 and enjoy the better driving and coupling and a billet stator- DIESELMAFIAPER.LB7

Thanks for the info I want it to drive nice but I do want to be competitive at the drag strip and not have issues spooling it especially were I live at 4500' lol I guess I need to figure out what I'd like best. Try what? Maybe I worded that poorly the converter I currently have is around a 2500 stall was built by itw. Not a fan of it really. I'm guessing I'll just go 1053-1 2800 stall and have more converter then I need and deal with the daily driving habits. I've thought about using Evans...- DIESELMAFIAPER.LB7

I'm having a hard time trying to decide on what converter to run with with 66/83 twins I feel the 2300 rpm stall could be pushed to spool my setup no issue but I have a 2500 stall unit now, but with the 1053-1 2800 stall I worry would be to much converter for the setup?
