LBZ: intercooler distance question
i installed an LBZ + the Allison tranny in a Reo 2.5 truck. i cannot put the huge intercooler in front at it's original location. i want to install it about 7 ft in the back of the truck with electric fans that will work all the time. can the distance create a problem? can it cause pressure...- Barry

Mike, these are pics of what i have in my 2006 silverado dually 3500. i also have the digit 2 in the 8th place in my VIN. i have LLY and MW7 in the front drivers side badge - pics of it above. the badge also says it was manufactured on 9/25/2005. do all these facts mean i have an LBZ motor... -

here is the VIN. i guess it means LLY 310 hp and 605 f/lb. -

thanks ryan. where in the truck do i find the vin number? this is an enlargement of the lower part of the picture above which shows a date - 09/22/05. maybe this also can help with the identification. -

hello all, this is the label i found attached to the truck's cabin (front drivers side). it's a dually 3500 silverado 6.6 duramax mated to a 6 spd automatic allison. can any of you guys tell what are the HP and torque numbers of this 6.6 duramax diesel engine? it says there LLY which is a model...
