Another battery relocation post
Damn you gmc's for not making enough room to put both battery's behind the bumper! Lol Some of you may know I'm putting a set of hsp twins on my truck. And I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with my battery's. where can I find some mounts to move them or do you all just make your own?- Dirtymaxx07

Nope, it will be on a stock charger for now. When I do the motor build ill be doing a 366/480 set up. Hopefully next week ill have it going again! I'm ready to see numbers too!- Dirtymaxx07

engine build broke crank now no start
Well, our problem was the timing. It showed like -46 once it was set perfect the truck fired right up. We went through everything like you have- Dirtymaxx07

Yep, his did the same exact thing... Pretty sure u have to have a special noid light for diesel to check the pulse at the plug. Do u not have a tech 2 handy? Or a scan tool of any sort?- Dirtymaxx07

My buddy's truck did this and the motor was one tooth out of time... On the tech2 it should have something that shows timing. Look at it and see what the number says while turning it over- Dirtymaxx07

Almost beat by a 1/2 ton gasser!!!
That truck def sounded healthy, damn good race!... He probably spraying a 150 shot. That's what I had on my stock 6.0 in my ext cab chevy. Just had basic bolt ons, stall, and a 150 shot, it cut a 12.7 ....- Dirtymaxx07

Rolling into it like I did I don't think it spun. If it did it was very little! I understand what your saying though rob! I'm going to leave it like that as of now. I do want to put a good set of shocks on it and just see what happens later on down the road. But right now it seems to be working...- Dirtymaxx07
