    New Drag Videos!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=QnsqNh9y9AQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wQ6TDPx24E Friday night at qualcomm. Unprepped 1/8 mile (literally a parking lot, zero tack prep). Cut consistent low 1.8x 60ft. Best 1/8 was 7.93x. Best win of the night was a pullied ZR1...

Wish you never built your motor?

Damn that's a lot of motor for a little c/c. Bet when she planes out with that heavy ass 4-stroke she's an absolute blast.... Isn't the transom rated for like 135? Haha.

Relocating washer reservoir for big meats!

Trying to slam my t-bars and keep that setup for DDing, but washer fluid reservoir is causing clearance issues while turning. Has anyone relocated their washer fluid reservoir? Mine is about to get rubbed through! Thanks!

    lowered truck pics

Has anyone done a washer reservoir relocation to make more room for big meats? Seems like that is my current limiting factor on how low I can go....

    Powdercoat to plastidip

Are you referring to the plastidip "glossifier" or to a coat of clear? Heard that clearcoat can make the plastidip brittle and hard to remove...

    Powdercoat to plastidip

Not rude at all, very good advice. I'll probably be stubborn and dip them. Then probably not be satisfied and peel it all off. Total waste of time, but at least then I won't feel bad about blowing a bunch of cash on powdercoat. Thanks everyone!

    Powdercoat to plastidip

Money is tight, and I will probably scratch them again anyways, so I don't really want to spend a bunch of money on powdercoat just to have to redo them again. Has anyone plastidipped their wheels? What kind of longevity did you get without peeling/fading?

    Powdercoat to plastidip

Hey all. I got my chrome 20's prepped and powdercoated black to match the truck, but a few miles later they have already started to peel. I got the $400 I payed refunded, and now I'm looking into options on salvaging the rims. I will post pics asap, but under the peeling powdercoat you can see...

    Racelegal at qualcomm FRIDAY!

Anyone up for hitting up racelegal at qualcomm this friday to take out some ricers and mustangs? I hear traction is an issue there, which should fare well for some boosted 4x4 launches against the fwd ricers. I plan on getting there by 6 since I have to leave by 9... Does anyone have any info...

my thoughts after running twins for a while

My batmo and race covered S475 over stock spools quick and is plenty snappy, except from a stop to about 10mph. Obviously not an issue with a boosted launch though. Also, I definitely drive it differently because it is smokey as hell below 1600ish rpm. Don't wanna get busted since I just moved...

    wanna make 650-700hp

You can "make" 750hp and DD it on a 500-550 tune without a full build. Even 40% overs and a S300 frame turbo (or S475/80 over stock, but pushing the stock turbo pretty hard) will get you there pretty easy and be streetable. BUT if you want to DD 750hp your motor won't live forever. Shoot, even...

    Cognito uca cv angles

Sorry to hijack, but would UCA's and dual shock hoops work on a truck with the t-bar bolts all the way out? Or would shocks have to be too short for the travel or what?
