    The Van does not have an Allison. The guy just assumed it did because all the trucks have them.

    Yes I did. Now I'm looking for a cargo van instead of a vette. I'll never buy another diesel truck but a Van at the right price.... Possibly. I'm waiting for a call back from the guy and I'll get the answer one way or another.

    Thanks Ben, so what your saying is I probably can't fix this myself and it's probably not worh the expense to have someone else diagnose and fix the problem. Sucks because I wanted this new truck to be perfect.

    I just found a 2007 Chevy Diesel express Van with 70k on it. It's 6 hours away. Question.... Did the 07 express Van come with the LBZ? Did it come with the 6 speed Allison? The guy ins't asking a lot of money for it and I'm thinking this deal is to good to be true. Thanks Mike

    4 wheel drive indicator light does not work??

    I would assume it does as I had a 99 with the floor shift and when I put it in 4 wheel drive a blue light came on that said 4 wheel drive. It definitely has a light how else would you know for sure it's working as sometimes you can forget to shift it back and the truck doesn't feel any different...

    If I didn't fix it I had a guy offer to trade me an early 07 2500 HD extended cab 6 liter with 180k even for my truck as is. Would this be a good trade for me? Or am I crazy to trade diesel for gas? Both truck are totally rust free.
