It was usually around 40-45. Once I started fine tuning it I had seen it touch 50psi IIRC. But I didnt watch the gauge too much.

i never saw henrys posts before i pulled mine out the first, but I have the Helms manuals for the truck which helped with the specs. But instead of spending $150 bucks, read henrys stuff, its the same as whats in the manual.

The lowest the factory manual lists is .0088 for grade a gaskets and the highest is 14.8 for a non overbored block using grade c's i didnt clean the walls with anything at all really the only fluid that touched it was some coolant but there wasnt any in that cylinder.

thanks josh thats what i was referring too. I know the leopard spots are normal. The black stain is just a run from the coolant mixing with the carbon ring and running down the wall.

Well turns out my tranny jack wasnt fixed and still has settling issues so NAPA is dropping a new one off tomorrow as per the jack companies warrenty policy. But since that wasnt working and I had no other helpers today I just started tearing into the motor with it in the truck. Not as nice as...

    Pics of Suspension Stops

I will say though driving around the pits with it blocked solid especially where its rough, is interesting and feels like your riding in a dodge.

Whats the weight of your truck ?

Well at the pull in cloverdale I put 800lbs out front, i was late so they made me guess and I was still 180lbs short so that puts my truck setup for pulling with junk in the cab @ 7,020lbs. Keep in mind my weight bar and hitch are ridiculously heavy. I remember back when i still had little...

    Custom stacks

As far as I know they are true stacks not HVAC duct work. Two trucks have 10" mitres. the other has I believe 8" bull haulers. What is the point?? These are loggers, they are independently wealthy for some reason and spend every last penny on these trucks. In all honesty I think these...

Do you have a local welder. Otherwise I too could fab one up and send it to you and you could paint it. Its not too terrible to do.

Need Help getting ready for Sled Pulls

Never on a 4x4 puller doesnt matter if its diesel or a full out blown KB hemi, doesnt matter if its BSTPA or NTPA. There are no roll cage rules for 4x4 trucks or even 2wd trucks for that matter including t-buckets. No truck classes need roll cages. Nearly all tractor classes do need roll...

Need Help getting ready for Sled Pulls

cage??? Only in big tractors, no truck classes even NTPA are required to have cages especially 4x4s, they dont roll. You will also probably need an SFI jacket and helmet as well as fire extinguiser.

Need Help getting ready for Sled Pulls

If you do traction bars you dont need spring clamps. For pulling you want a long bar. Lower the T bars down and if you dont have sleeves get some. If you have the factory centerlink and no braces strap it or get some braces. You may need a regulation 3x3.75" pulling loop. Depends who you run...
